Mass Education  Internationalwas officially created on the 12th February 2002 in France, and registered under the French Law of Association, as a non-religious, non-political and non-profit making Human Development International Organization founded by a handful of experienced personal in development work to help the activities of Mass Education.Mass Education International was set up with the initiative of ‘Mass Education’

Mass Education International will involve various National / International civil society, groups, NGOs, individuals, people’s organisations, progressive development organisations, in thinking how to improve the livelihoods of the most vulnerable and marginalised people and groups wherever they live irrespective of cast, colour and creed 

Mass Education International intends to raise fund for sustainable development and emergency activities in India and other under developed and developing countries of the world and to undertake and implement those programmes at micro and macro level by sending volunteers, experts, setting up offices and helping the local people to improve their capacity so that they can undertake such development activities. MEI will also work with the local NGOs to empower the most vulnerable and marginalised population.

 The organisation will create international opinion to raise development investments from the Northern to the Southern countries in order to address and resolve the urgent issues like environment disaster, water and sanitation, human rights, livelihood development, fair trade, women and child abuses, all forms of conflicts, Tribal, minorities and ethnical groups.

In addition, the organisation will create an opportunity for the Northern public to face the reality of the South so as to understand the socio-economic and cultural rights of the poor through exchange, field exposure, development tourism and networking activities.

MEI also intends to promote arts, crafts and traditional and ethical culture of India and the Southern countries through exhibition, sale, symposium, cultural exchange and performances.   MEI believes in sustainable development through participation, transparency and continuity of the work for development
